I'm so glad you're here.
Every client I've ever met has a story, and one truth unites us all--
We've experienced profound challenges in life. We've all climbed some mountains.
I've walked rocky trails, and I imagine you are here because challenges of your own. Whatever your reasons coming to this space, I'd love to sit beside you (or in front of you online), get to know you, and hear your experience of the trail you are on. I have been able to witness and support humans to navigate, get to know themselves, peel away the obsolete, unhelpful strategies, and move through their own experiences.
What's on the other side of that for you?
My clients describe the freedom to come home to themselves, come home to their own hearts, feel comfortable in their truest skin and to live their purpose after our work together.
This happens when humans have the right support.
This can happen for YOU.
You're already taking the first step by exploring to see if this work is a good fit for you. Stay curious~ Emily Ruth
So one question we can consider together is, how did you have to adapt, in order to survive your life challenges? What brilliant strategies did you develop in order to get through, and how is that scar showing up in this moment? We don't have to want to continue the adaptation, but we can be compassionate and curious about it.
I commit to creating a space for you to explore post-traumatic growth in ways that are doable for you. Challenging your growth edges is an important part of this process. Feeling connected to yourself and another through embodiment is one of the keys to unlocking your process of healing and integration.
“The spontaneous movement in all of us is toward connection, health and aliveness, no matter how withdrawn and isolated we have become or how serious the trauma we have experienced. On the deepest level, just as a plant spontaneously moves toward sunlight, there is in each of us an impulse moving toward connection and healing.” -Dr. Laurence Heller (creator of NeuroAffective Relational Model)
I offer coching services virtually online. I utilize a variety of different modalities where appropriate, but a majority of the work I do is with a somatic/emotional/relational approach called the NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM).
